RACE TO 2015: PDP GOVERNORS HOLD CLOSED-DOOR MEETING

Some Governors "now dubbed Jonathan foot soldiers", among the PDP Governors  are said to be busy having a closed door meeting with the former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Hilltop Mansion in Abeokuta, Ogun State , today.

The list include, Chairman of the party’s Governors Forum, Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi) and Liyel Imoke (Cross River), among others.

According to speculated reports, the meeting was to appease Obasanjo, who is said to be unimpressed with the performance of the President Goodluck Jonathan-led government.

It would be recalled that Obasanjo recent outbursts some of which described Jonathan’s performance as below average are worrisome to those who believe the former President should act like a leader.

Tongues are also wagging that OBJ, as he is fondly called should swallow his remarks in shame, having been the one who foisted the leadership of President GEJ on the Nigerian state to enable him cover his own corruption tracts after his administration.
