MILITARIZATION OF IKOM FOR SENATORIAL PRIMARIES; SENATOR VICTOR NDOMA-EGBA SPEAKS

The primaries that is clearly staked against me because is a process. Today’s event is not an event on it’s own, it is a culmination of a process that has started with Congresses at the wards.

You recall the situation in Cross River State where the congresses held were favourable to me ,but the powers-that-be thought that they should be cancelled.

Secondly, the list that we are going to use today did not emerge from any congress of the field that I am aware of, so I am facing an uphill task, but I am trusting that GOD’s Hands will show at the end of the day.

Ikom Town has been militarized in a Civil Election?

That is because the will of the people is about to be subverted. And when such a thing happens the people react. That is the situation you are currently witnessing. What is happening does not represent the will of the people, but I am still going to face the situation all the same and await the outcome of the exercise.

Why are you going to participate in an election that is not neutral?

Because if I don’t, I won’t have any bases for further action.

Dear All,
There's heavy presence of Military, Police, DSS, Civil Defence and other Para-military Security in the Central Senatorial Zone of Cross River State since the current PDP Primaries and we are on ground to bring it to you.
Stay Tuned!
