The Nigerian Senate majority leader, Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba has set all paraphernalia to enable him retain his status as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The ranking Senator dispelled insinuations by his contenders that he is no longer in touch with his constituency, as he toured Cross River State.

Same time a rally was held in his honour in Ikom by women of the central senatorial district. Though not in attendance, the Senate Leader, while fielding questions from journalists during the tour told them that the rally was a program he was not part of, but went to acknowledge the fact that it came as a result of the people's support for his reelection.

In the various Local Governments where he touched with his campaign team, there was resounding acceptance and calls on him to return to the Senate to complete what he have started.

In Saint Pual Catholic Church, Orimekpang in Etung LGA, during the mass the Priest’s message was based on love for GOD and man? The Priest identified Senator Ndoma Egba as a man quietly performing and advised him to remain focused.
A visit to Olum at the palace of the Paramount Ruler of Boki, HRH Otu Fredalin Akandu; the royal father said, “It is abomination for a father to be told to stand up so that the child can sit down”.

“You have to complete the job you have started for us. We want you to do more. We are canvassing for Ogoja State, and if you do not go back, who will continue such struggle for us? Putting a new person in your position means moving backward. So go and complete your work.” He concluded. After that there was a group meeting with groups in Bashua.

In Ugep, the Yakurr Campaign Chapter was inaugurated after a brief touch at the Paramount Ruler's place, where journalists were not allowed to reach. At a different venue in Ugep, a large crowd was already waiting for him. In his words, the Senator asked “You people asked me to go and pick form. Now I am back to inform you that I am set. But I heard that you want to give the ticket to another person, is it true? "

He stated that having been cleared as enthusiastically as they sounded, he was set to run. Where after, he inaugurated the Campaign committee in the company of Senator M.T Mbu and the immediate past Chairman of Yakurr Local Government Area, Hon Ubi Etta, who told the crowd that Senator Victor should be respected as an elder brother who will leave his batten for Yakurr after his term is concluded.

At the presentation of a brand new 14-seater Nissan bus to National Union of Teachers, NUT in his house. He described teachers as a group of people who have influenced his life. He said that whatever he was today, that the teaching profession made him to become hence he has their interest at heart. The Senate Leader promised other groups to be patient as every promised he has made will be fulfilled in due time.

While responding the teachers prayed that whatever he needed will be granted to him as he has done for them.
