NIGERIA ELECTIONS 2015; TAKE A DEEP BREATH, PLEASE!

Dear Nigerians,
Yesterday was the first election in our generation that every patriotic Nigerian had to hold their breath.
It was like a world cup where two great teams battle out to give the world thrill and suspense till the winning goal is scored.

Every partisan person will want their candidate to emerge, it is natural. But collectively, we should look out for the good of the future.
Nigeria remains bigger than one individual and party affiliation and we are hoping to see an election such as this in the future where manipulations will be as minimal as best.By now most of us would have recovered from our collective fear of losing, it was a great thing that the news of who the winner is will now meet a more mature and settled people, that is wisdom and we must give the current administration kudos for creating such an environment.

There is hope, and I want to wish all of us a great day ahead.
Get ready to pop a bottle for the winner, Nigeria is democratically growing.
We shall take on the analysis afterwards. Yet this should be a lesson to us all that participating in the actual process is very vital to the success of our preferred candidate. This should spur us to get registered and be ready to vote and possible join a political party. Continuing to stigmatize politics and politicians will do us no good. I hope that we create the opportunities to openly and with all civility discuss our lessons in order to move our democracy forward.

Enjoy your day.
GOD Bless Nigeria!
