Gov. Liyel Imoke of Imoke made the call in Calabar at the inauguration of the Cross River PDP campaign team for the 2015 general elections coming up in February.
The Governor stated that the PDP family in the state has grown from strength to strength stressing that there was need for party members to sustain the achievements and stride recorded by the party since the party came on board sixteen years ago.
``For those who have fled out of the party, we are asking them to return especially now that there are needed, and the PDP is ever ready to accommodate them.
``It is only when you are in the party that you can gain relevance and the opportunity to serve your people.
``It is bad as an individual if you boot yourself out of the PDP family, because it is only through family arrangement that an individual can gain back his relevance” Imoke stated.
The Governor charged politicians in the state to learn how to play politics according to the rules rather than embarking on campaign of calumny which tend to attack individuals or personality.
