As part of measures to adding value to lives of
citizens through quality education, the Naval Officers’ Wives Association
(NOWA), have commissioned its first secondary school in Calabar the

Atimbo- Calabar, the National President of the Naval Officers Wives Association
in Nigeria Mrs. Lami Jibrin, advised that girl-child education should be given
attention in the country’s education curriculum.
She maintained that education of the girl-child
speaks volume in any home because they are responsible for 75 percent of the
activities at home.
